Before Ordering..

On this page are some things you know ahead of time. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns.

We are a licensed home bakery under the Texas Cottage Laws

Sweet Tooth Velle operates as a licensed home bakery, not a walk-in commercial storefront. All products are made from scratch in a home kitchen by the sole baker and owner, Jévelle. This information is clearly stated on both our Homepage and About Us page to ensure full transparency.

If you are specifically seeking a commercial bakery location or have concerns about ordering from a home-based bakery, we completely understand and respect your decision to explore other options that better suit your needs.

Please also be advised that as the sole baker and owner—who also works full time—phone calls cannot always be answered immediately. For the fastest response, we strongly encourage customers to contact us via text message or email. These channels are monitored regularly and allow us to assist you as efficiently as possible.

There's not an order without a contract nor a deposit

All orders—both custom and basic—require a 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract to secure and guarantee your order. Sweet Tooth Velle does not accept same-day or next-day orders under any circumstances. All invoices and contracts are issued via email only, regardless of whether initial communication takes place by text.

All orders must be picked up by or delivered to the designated contact person listed on the contract. Orders will not be released to anyone other than the named contact unless explicit written authorization is provided in advance. If a change to the designated contact person is needed, Sweet Tooth Velle must be notified no less than 3–5 days prior to pickup or delivery. Changes requested on the day of pickup or delivery will not be accepted, and the order will not be released. If no alternate contact is assigned in advance, the order will be released only to the individual who placed the order.

Please be advised that a late pickup fee of $30 (or $2 per minute) will be applied for every 15-minute interval the designated contact person arrives late. Orders will not be released until all late fees are paid in full. Additionally, if Sweet Tooth Velle is not notified of your preferred pickup time or any delivery changes until the day of the order, a $50 same-day change fee will be assessed and must be paid prior to order release.

Once your order is picked up, Sweet Tooth Velle is no longer responsible for the order

Once an order has been released to and received by the designated contact person, Sweet Tooth Velle is no longer responsible for any damage, accidents, or issues beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, improper handling, transportation concerns, or environmental factors after pickup or delivery.

To prevent damage during transit, all orders must be transported on a flat, stable surface to avoid shifting or sliding. Detailed storage and handling instructions will be provided with every order. Please note that some products are stored in a freezer prior to pickup; instructions will clearly outline required thawing times—typically 45 minutes to 1 hour—as well as proper storage guidelines for later consumption. It is the responsibility of the designated contact person to follow these instructions to maintain product quality.

Please also be advised that Sweet Tooth Velle may share a photo of your order on social media no earlier than one (1) hour after the order has been received by the designated contact person.

Corporate Orders

To protect against identity theft and prevent unauthorized use of payment information, Sweet Tooth Velle requires the submission of a Tax Identification Number (TIN) or National Provider Identifier (NPI) prior to processing all corporate orders. This verification is mandatory and ensures secure and compliant transactions.

Please note that all corporate orders must be paid using a company-issued credit card. Personal credit cards will not be accepted for corporate purchases. An invoice will be sent directly to the designated contact person’s email address listed on the order for recordkeeping and payment confirmation.
